FAQ

Is there an upfront installation payment with Plants as a Service?

No. Eligible rental packages begin with a monthly service fee and no separate installation payment upfront. Exact conditions are stated in the individual quotation.

Who owns the plants?

Under the Plants as a Service model, the plants remain the property of Botaqo. Under the purchase model, the client owns the plants.

What happens if a plant becomes unhealthy?

We assess the plant during regular maintenance visits. Under the rental model, replacement may be included according to the service agreement. Under the purchase model, replacement plants are normally charged separately.

How long is the contract?

Plants as a Service packages generally have a minimum 12-month term. Purchase-model maintenance agreements can be arranged more flexibly. The exact duration is stated in the individual agreement.

Can the package be expanded later?

Yes. Planting concepts can usually be adapted or expanded as the workspace and requirements develop.

What happens if the client moves office?

Under the rental model, relocation may be arranged separately depending on the location, package and project requirements.

How often do you visit?

Visit frequency is tailored to the plant selection, workspace conditions and chosen maintenance package.

Can I purchase plants without maintenance?

Yes. One-time plant and installation projects can be quoted separately, although ongoing care is recommended for long-term plant health.

Do you care for plants that were not supplied by Botaqo?

Yes. We provide professional care for existing plants regardless of where they were purchased or who installed them.

Do you offer artificial greenery?

Yes. We create custom commercial solutions using premium artificial plants and artificial green walls.

Do you install green walls?

Yes. We design both live and artificial green walls as custom projects. Live walls are also subject to a site assessment and technical feasibility.

Do you work outside Berlin?

Yes. We work with clients beyond Berlin, and travel costs may apply depending on the project location.
